Grafton Irrigation, in its current form, has been operating since 2005. There are 3 shareholders, from South Canterbury, with strong farming backgrounds. Our main base is in Timaru, with service bases in Glenavy and Oamaru. We cover a wide region with clients spread from North Canterbury to Central Otago and into the Mackenzie Basin. While we are not a large corporate, we have good buying power and are small enough to care about all our clients. Our experience and expertise extends into all forms of agricultural irrigation.

A great example of Grafton Irrigation’s vision and innovation is the invention of the solid set system known as G-Set (G for Grafton). We are proven industry leaders in designing Zimmatic centre pivots on rolling hill country, large gun solid set designs, and solar powered water pumping. Our team are also highly experienced in the latest irrigation electronics technology such as Zimmatic Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) and Field Net.
Grafton has a Certificate of Accreditation in Irrigation Design, ACC Workplace Safety Management Certificate, and CRC Bore Installers Programme Certificate, and is an accredited Water Meter installer.
The staff at Grafton Irrigation believe in listening to your needs and working closely with you to find solutions. We will also undertake any repairs and maintenance to make sure your system remains reliable for many years. Comprehensive on-site training is provided if you are new to irrigation.
